The device is similar in size to a Blackberry or iPhone and weighs under 250g. It can be a handheld tracker or fitted to vehicles, ships, moorings, containers – anything that needs to be tracked, with confidence, in near real time. The basic function is the tracking mode where TRIG automatically transmits standard messages including GPS positions, temperature, motion, and battery status to the desired control centres. The fully charged battery in the unit will support up to 1300 transmissions. |

Class I Bluetooth capability means TRIG becomes a satellite modem for use with Bluetooth Devices such as smartphones, laptops and PC’s. Each unit supports several simultaneous Bluetooth links. Email and SMS text messaging is possible anywhere in the world. The computing power of smartphones and other Bluetooth Devices is available to the user anywhere. The applications are endless. |
Green, Amber and Red Alert Modes

· Green - basic tracking mode (e.g. hourly reports) The device is switched on and the green LED lights up indicating normal tracking mode. · Amber - working, or in a hazardous situation (e.g. 5 min reports) The user presses the alert button and the LED turns amber - control are aware that a red alert situation is imminent. · Red Alert - immediate assistance required (e.g. 1 min report) The user presses and holds the alert button to indicate to control that action must be taken and the user awaits a response. |

Someone at control then responds to a red alert to turn the LED display blue. This vital feature gives the user confidence that the red alert has been acted on by a person. |
